Maryland Invention Convention Communications
Program Cycle
September – October: Registration opens; educator and family outreach begins
November – March: Students work through the invention process; this can be done at home, in schools, after school programs, etc.
March: Judge recruitment and training; submission push
April: Submission deadline; asynchronous judging window opens
Late April: In-person awards ceremony with virtual option
May: Nationals nominations announced
June: Nationals held in Dearborn, MI the first week of June
